General Data Protection Regulation Privacy Statement for the United Kingdom Association of Solution Focused Practitioners
At the United Kingdom Association of Solution Focused Practitioners, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our members, subscribers and visitors to our website. We do not sell rent or trade email lists with any other companies or organisations for marketing purposes. We have some limited personal information on each of the members & subscribers simply in order to be able to contact you in relation to the business of the UKASFP. We also occasionally use your data to provide you with information about activities related to solution focus practice. This data is now held on a secure server that does not permit access to 3rd parties.
Currently we do not monitor traffic on the website. If this were to change, we would be using a third-party service to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We would be doing this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We would not make, and would do not allow third-party providers to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Services we use include: MailChimp to send our newsletter and other information by email, we use Eventbrite for our conference registration services and Events Northern Ltd. conduct most of our daily business administration on behalf of the organisation.
If you choose to do so you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our emails, or by emailing email@example.com.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer firstname.lastname@example.org.
The UKASFP also operates a forum and a discussion group for members. When using these communication tools members consent to sharing their email addresses with other members. Members are prohibited from contacting other members by these means (outside of the systems UKASFP officially operates) unless specific consent is given. When using these member services, you must never include any personal data about third parties instead anonymise data using phrases such as, my client or client1 etc. Posts containing any non-anonymised data will be immediately deleted.
