The UKASFP 10th Anniversary Conference was held in Brimingham on 13th and 14th June.
The pre-conference workshops and the AGM on the Thursday were held at the Botanical Gardens. We were entertained afterwards, from the Bandstand, by the Vibe Youth Centre - variety performance 'Jimmy Jimmy' - a local Birminham youth rock/pop group. They were terrific and we feel they will go far with their great music.
Over 100 SF practitioners from around the UK met on Friday 14th at Birmingham City Universary Campus at Edgebaston, for the 10th UKASFP Conference which was hosted by Change, BIrmingham.
Pam Morley, who works for the University, had arranged for 8 student mental health nurses to be our 'student hosts'. They helped us find our way around the campus and get to the workshops on time so we could share SF ideas and learn together. We hope that they got some great ideas about SF which will mature over they as they finish their course.
