Bill O'Connells's new chapter

Hi folks,

I have just read Bill O'Connells chapter on SFT in 'Dryden's Handbook of Individual Therapy (fifth edition)', Sage, 2006.

Firstly, Bill, if you are reading the list, well done (if not, why not?), great chapter and cracking to get into Dryden's book, seen by many therapists outside of SF as somewhat essential..........well worth reading folks........especially that Bill devotes a good few paragraphs to developments in UK and gives UKASFP a big mention. Bill, I love the bit about not needing to understand pathology, I'm gonna have some fun with that!

Not to go on, but to get into a book that is read by psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, behavioural and person centred folk is no small feat, when I look around the bookshelfs of various therapists where I work p/t in a psychology dept, Dryden is on many shelves.

I wont spoil it for the rest of you that may buy, it, do. Now waiting on Alasdairs new book to arrive.

Best wishes,

Paul Hanton
