The Birmingham MA course is an accredited University course. Carlisle, Preston, Guildford, Canterbury, Plymouth have level 2 accredited courses which count towards degrees. BRIEF Diploma is accredited to a similar level but I don't know who by. Reading, Durham, Newcastle have non-accredited courses. Who else out there knows of others? Best wishes, Alasdair. www.solutionsdoc.co.uk

A query please - are there any accredited SF courses in the UK? I kinda feel I ought to know the answer but when I ask myself for it I'm not so sure! Is the Birmingham course accredited? What about BRIEF's Diploma?
I'm sure there's someone who knows out there! Thanks, Carole HYPERLINK "www.northwestsolutions.co.uk" www.northwestsolutions.co.uk

There are basic Open College Network courses available at levels 2 and 3. i e. roughly equivalent to GCSE and A level standards respectively. These are only unit based so not a full 'qualification' as per NVQ but still can provide a certificate recognised nationally.

Thanks to all for this - so far, very helpful.
Now - step 2 - are there any solution focused clinical supervision accredited courses?
That's going to test the knowledge of this group!

The Birmingham MA is university accredited as you say Alasdair, not BACP accredited, though study/contact hours should count toward accreditation with BACP.
Best wishes,
Paul
