Hi Steve,

Thanks for the welcome. At the moment I am still learning SFA but intend to use it in private practice for mental health problems. I am going to a seminar in April with Dr Alasdair Macdonald on the use of SFA in severe mental illness, so that should be interesting. I have, in the past, specialised in bipolar disorder and personality disorders. Is there any reading you could recommend? I have the Macdonald book and Bill O'Connell's SFA book.

With many thanks

Hannah

Hi Hannah, you might also like to look at the book by Lucie Dunca, Rayya
Ghul and Sarah Mousley called 'Creating Positive Futures: solution
focused recovery from mental distress' (BT Press 2007, £16.50) - they
are occupational therapists working in the mental health field. it's
well worth reading.
All the best,
Carole
