To explain Greg's PS - a few years ago Greg exploded onto Harry
Korman's
solution focused internet discussion list, invariably quoting lyrics
by
the likes of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and anybody else who came to his
mind, always aptly (to illustrate some point) and much enjoyed by me.
Then for some reason, he stopped, so occasionally I pester him to
resume
this practice.

Hi Martin

Spot on with the answer.

This made me think of how often "prisons" are constructed in our own minds
rather than those people who may wish to restrict our behaviour i.e. we
learn and are encouraged to self-regulate. I often notice this when training
staff in SFBT and asking people to respond to the miracle question / perfect
day. Regularly, individuals say to themselves "that can't happen" or even
worse the person playing the worker asks them to "stay with reality".

Just a couple of thoughts.

Thanks Greg,
so...re the expert thing being solution focused and asking questions
is a bit like making a cake...the resources are like the file inside
which people can find .... or pushing a song quote too far!
