Description
Brief Company Profile Since the year 2000, The Rickter Company has trained over 12,000 practitioners in the use of the Rickter Scale® and has worked extensively in the fields of social inclusion, education and training. The adaptation of the Rickter model is almost unlimited, and we are currently exploring the corporate market. We engage with over 50 Associates, have established the Company in Australasia and have projects developing in Europe, South Africa and North America. In a non-threatening and non-judgemental way, the Rickter Scale® itself raises awareness of individuals’ circumstances, enabling them to identify priority areas for intervention and support, and then to explore possibility. In this way individuals can make informed choices, take responsibility for their goals and contribute to their own action plan. Recording multiple perspectives within an organisation can identify perception gaps and become not only a measure of, say culture change, but be a creative force in bringing about that change. This unique tool has been created for practitioners by practitioners, with a minimum of recording documentation. What it does measure are soft indicators and ‘distance travelled’: the genuine movement that people achieve in dealing with barriers and limiting beliefs, whilst gaining confidence, self-esteem and self-efficacy. The Rickter Scale® combines a solutions-focused approach with elements of systems thinking, motivational interviewing and NLP. In facilitating either individuals or groups to take ownership of the process, the Rickter Model readily complements and informs assessment frameworks such as ASSET, APIR, CATS and the Common Assessment Framework, and because it is so adaptable in reflecting the needs of different client groups, it is poised to play a significant role in the fulfilment of the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda and indeed of any organisation’s strategic development plans. And now with our complementary online recording software, real-time volume data from multiple worksites can be aggregated, analysed and reports produced to individual company specification, with secure access available to however many levels of operation deemed appropriate.
